Cookie and Local Storage Policy
This policy explains whether the NOVACORE AI website uses cookies or similar browser-storage technologies.
Last updated: 17 August 2026
Summary
In its current configuration, this website does not set cookies for analytics, advertising, behavioural profiling or cross-site tracking.
We do not currently use:
- analytics cookies
- advertising or marketing cookies
- tracking pixels
- social-media tracking widgets
- cross-site identifiers
- behavioural-profiling technologies.
For this reason, the website does not currently display a cookie-consent banner. A consent banner is not necessary where no technology requiring consent is activated.
Browser storage used by the website
The website uses one local browser-storage value when you actively select a language.
| Name | Technology | Purpose | Possible values | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| `nc-lang` | Browser local storage | Remembers the language selected for the website | `en` or `ro` | Until changed by you or removed through your browser |

nc-lang is not a cookie.
It contains only the selected two-letter language code. It does not contain a name, account number, device identifier, advertising identifier or other unique visitor identifier.
The value:
- is created or updated when you select a language
- is read by the website to display the preferred language on future visits
- remains within storage associated with this website’s origin
- is not automatically included in HTTP requests in the way a cookie may be
- is not used by NOVACORE AI for analytics, advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking
- is not combined with other information to create a visitor profile.
The language preference may persist across browser sessions until it is changed or deleted.
Why consent is not requested for the language preference
Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive applies to storing or accessing information on a user’s device and is not limited to traditional cookies.
The rule provides an exception for storage or access that is strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user.
Our current assessment is that storing the language selected by the user falls within this exception because:
- the value is created in response to an explicit language choice
- its sole purpose is to remember that choice
- it contains no unique identifier
- it is not used for an additional analytics, advertising or profiling purpose.
We disclose the technology here in the interests of transparency even though we do not currently request consent for it.
How to change or remove the preference
You may change the language at any time using the language selector in the website header. Selecting another language updates the stored value.
You may remove the value by clearing local site data through your browser settings.
After removal, the website will continue to function. You may be asked to select a language again, or the website may use its default language.
Browser controls differ between products and versions. Consult your browser’s support documentation for instructions on viewing or clearing site data.
Technologies not currently used
The website does not currently use browser storage for:
Analytics
We do not use Google Analytics, self-hosted analytics, heatmaps, session replay, page-view counters or similar audience-measurement tools.
Advertising
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting technologies, marketing profiles or advertising identifiers.
Social tracking
We do not activate third-party social-media scripts, tracking widgets or embedded social pixels.
Ordinary links to external services may still take you to a third-party website. Once you follow such a link, the third party’s own terms and privacy practices apply.
Cross-site profiling
We do not use the website to follow visitors across unrelated websites or create cross-site behavioural profiles.
Third-party hosted assets
In the currently reviewed configuration, fonts, stylesheets and application scripts are served from infrastructure used to deliver this website rather than being requested directly from third-party advertising or analytics services.
Server logs
Browser storage is separate from server-side request logging.
When a browser connects to the website, the hosting and security infrastructure may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. This may include:
- IP address
- request date and time
- requested page or resource
- HTTP method and response status
- browser or user-agent information
- referral information where supplied by the browser
- security and error information.
Server logs are not cookies and are not stored in your browser. Their processing, purpose, legal basis and retention are described in our Privacy Policy.
External websites
Links on this website may direct you to external websites, public registers or manufacturer resources.
NOVACORE AI does not control the cookies or storage technologies used after you leave our website. Review the cookie and privacy information published by the relevant third-party operator.
Changes to this policy
We will review this policy whenever the website’s storage, analytics, advertising, embedded-content or infrastructure configuration changes.
If we introduce a non-essential technology that requires consent, it will remain disabled until a valid choice has been made. Any consent mechanism introduced will provide appropriate information and a way to withdraw or change the choice.
We will not describe a technology as inactive if it is loaded before the required consent.
The updated policy will identify its effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the website where appropriate.
