Partnering with universities, research institutes and academic groups to advance AI capability in Romania and Europe — with clear IP terms, publication policies and data governance.
NOVACORE AI's research programme is designed to operate in partnership with academic and research institutions. We do not believe in isolated corporate research — the most significant advances in AI come from collaboration between industry and academia, where industrial resources and real-world deployment experience meet academic rigour and independent peer review. Our research partnerships take multiple forms. Joint research projects where NOVACORE and academic partners contribute complementary expertise, data and compute resources to shared research objectives. PhD and postdoctoral programmes where early-career researchers work on applied AI problems with access to industrial-scale compute infrastructure. Dataset development collaborations where academic linguists, domain experts and NOVACORE engineers jointly curate high-quality Romanian-language datasets. And evaluation partnerships where independent academic groups validate NOVACORE's research outputs and benchmark results. Every research partnership is governed by formal collaboration agreements that define intellectual property ownership, publication rights, data governance, compute-resource allocation and conflict-resolution mechanisms. We publish research jointly with academic partners, with all authors properly credited and all contributions transparently acknowledged. Research conducted with public funding follows the publication and open-access requirements of the funding body. Research conducted with proprietary data or for commercial applications follows separate governance appropriate to the data and the application.
Co-investigated research projects with shared objectives, complementary expertise and defined outputs. Joint publications, co-developed datasets and shared evaluation frameworks with clear attribution and governance.
Programmes for early-career researchers working on applied AI problems with industrial-scale compute resources. Academic supervision combined with industry mentorship — preparing researchers for careers in academia and industry.
Joint curation of high-quality datasets for Romanian and regional languages. Academic linguists and domain experts define quality standards; NOVACORE provides engineering, infrastructure and licensing framework.
Independent academic validation of research outputs and benchmark results. External review ensures that published performance claims are credible, reproducible and methodologically sound.
Joint participation in academic conferences, workshops and seminars. Co-authored papers, shared presentation duties and collaborative engagement with the international research community.
Joint applications for Romanian, European and international research funding. NOVACORE contributes industrial matching, compute infrastructure and deployment expertise to strengthen grant applications.
NOVACORE AI respects academic independence. Research partners retain the right to publish — with reasonable review periods to protect proprietary information. We do not suppress unfavourable results, influence peer review or claim authorship without contribution. Research conducted with academic partners follows the publication norms of the relevant discipline. Commercial research follows separate governance; academic research follows academic standards. This clear separation protects both the integrity of our academic collaborations and the confidentiality of our commercial work.
Secure AI and high-performance computing for enterprises, governments and research.
